The Lions' Den

If you put your child in the Lions' Den (public school), expect for them to be eaten. It will happen. If by some wild chance they don't get eaten, they will come out with the stink of the pit on them. The false religions of evolution and humanism, the perversion of music, the twisting of sexuality....all of this will mar he/she in ways that will never be erased. Do not expect your child to be a "Daniel". Most kids can't live up to those expectations. You shouldn't expect them to. Children are vessels to be shaped, and you as the parent are supposed to help guide them into what they are meant to be. God entrusts you with the raising of his children. Will you then throw them into the pit of despair to worry and stress over the lions? What type of vessel are you molding?

Art Class

My mother in law sent my girls acrylic paints and canvases as a "snow day" activity. Well, it snowed the other day, and since we have started Christmas break, I decided to pull them out. It kept them quiet a LOOONNNGGG time. And they loved it.

How Far Do You Take Friendliness?

This is Annelise hugging Geoffrey the giraffe outside of Toys R Us. Annelise wants to hug anyone that is dressed up in a costume...which I don't understand in the least. Maybe it is because she is (like all other children) naturally trusting.

As a parent in these times, I have often wondered where we are supposed to draw the line. Should we teach our children to be friendly to everyone, regardless of race or religion...or do we teach them to be cautious, never talking to strangers? I've heard so many horror stories, as I'm sure you have, of abducted kids, molested kids; kids whose parents leave them in a car by themselves-the list goes on and on. I tend to hang overly cynical and cautious. What if I send these vibes to my children and they grow up paranoid freaks? This is just one more thing in the "worry" pile.

For now...I let her hug, but I am literally 5 steps away. I am ready to tackle the giraffe if needs be (just kidding...I think). Try anything funny, buddy...and you're going down.



Mama's Boys

For a long time it has been in the back recesses of  my mind to write an article entitled Mama's Boys. Mainly because I see so much of this going on around me and also, to hopefully cause a little less grief to someone out there who will inevitably suffer from being involved with a "Mama's Boy". Maybe some of the men will read this and decide not to let this be a problem in their lives, especially if they are little boys becoming men.

This article is for all the girls and women out there who have had the privilege of coming in contact or being married to the men that I call Mama’s Boys. And for all of you people out there who don’t know who or what are Mama’s Boys, I intend to spend a little time enlightening you.

A Mama’s Boy is the man who has “supposedly” grown up under the preconceived idea that if something goes wrong in his life, Mama is always there to fix it and/or to welcome him back home. She is the one he turns to when he decides to throw all caution to the wind and let everyone know that he intends to have his way or in other words “It’s my way or the highway”. A Mama’s Boy has a tendency to think that once he is married—that is if he gets married—to run to Mama’s house whenever there is a problem arising in his home with his wife. And usually the Man (Boy’s Mama) is there to welcome him with kindness so that he can feel nurtured in his time of need. She usually listens to his side of the story and kisses the boo-boos he is feeling, especially when he feels like he’s being mistreated at home. Many of these Mama’s Boys actually start believing that the wife is the cause of all their troubles and that they should just go back to their Mama and kiss the problem goodbye.

Sometimes when a Mama’s Boy gets into trouble with the law the Boy’s Mama goes right over to the courthouse and bails him out, even if she has to lie to do it. As for the ones that never do marry, but stay at home with Mama—they are usually allowed to hide in the shadows and are coddled to the point of destruction. These Mama’s Boys don’t have to get out of bed until they please. They are allowed to lounge their days away sitting in front of the TV, Internet, or Video games or all of the above. If someone should need their help around the house, they are just plain out not able to exert themselves enough to help. After a while, the Boy’s Mama gets tired of prodding and pushing the Mama’s Boy to help and finally succumbs to the cliché of “I just don’t know what to do with that Boy”—because in the Mama’s mind, he is still “her boy”. She has coddled him to the point that he is unable to make man-sized decisions or even do a man-sized job. But the bad part about this is that when Mama’s Boys are allowed to do as they please, they cause others around them to suffer. Someone has to pick up the slack and it is not the Mama’s Boy that’s doing it. This can also lead to other problems in the home, especially with the Boy’s Mama’s husband (should be his dad!). Either he’s a part of the problem or he has to live with the fact that he has a son living in the house that refuses to do anything to help at home. There is usually constant turmoil in the home because of this. In reality, the husband finds that he either has to succumb or get out.

So, there seems to be no end to the nightmare. And if he isn’t married, then when the Boy’s Mama gets sick or dies, someone else has to do all the things for the Mama’s Boy that the Mama took care of, because after the Mama’s Boy has been allowed to do as he pleases for a few years, he becomes unable to take care of himself—or in taking care of himself, he has to either lie and steal from his parents or he ends up on disability. I hope that all you Boys Mamas out there will take heed to the descriptions above and decide not to be the person to cause untold hurt and misery to those around you just because for some reason you have decided to keep your Boys from growing up!! There are many wives or ex-wives these days that have had to live with the misery and hurt of a Mama’s Boy, and I say dear Mama you are the reason for this happening. Because if you would just stop being there and helping your son out of all his “so-called” mishaps, or tell him when he’s wrong, maybe he would be able to grow up and be A Man!

Welcome to the April issue of Herbs and Heirlooms!

This month I get to talk about one (I did say one) of my favorite of all herbs! Peppermint!

A few years ago, due to buying eggs from a farm family, I came in contact with the SitKowski family. You pronounce that like “sit cow ski” (that’s what they told me)! They made mostly all of their foods and beverages from scratch. It is the first time I ever had what they called a “garden mint” tea. I thought this was wonderfully good. They grew their own mix of mints, spearmint, peppermint, etc. and mixed them all together to make a delicious mint tea. I have never forgotten it. Of course, they added sugar to the mix. They took this tea to all of their get togethers, seemingly everybody loved it and so did I. Well, they no longer live here in this area, but I decided to start growing my own mix of mint and still make tea from it. It is very easy to grow.

According to Wikipedia:

Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between the watermint (Mentha aquatica) and spearmint (Mentha spicata) The plant, indigenous to Europe, is now widespread in cultivation throughout all regions of the world. It is found wild occasionally with its parent. Peppermint was first described in 1753 by Carolus Linnaeus from specimens that had been collected in England; he treated it as a species, but it is now universally agreed to be a hybrid.

It is an herbaceous rhizomatous perennial plant growing to 12–35 inches tall, with smooth stems, square in cross section. The rhizomes are wide-spreading, fleshy, and bare fibrous roots. The leaves are dark green with reddish veins, and with an acute apex and coarsely toothed margins. The leaves and stems are usually slightly hairy. The flowers are purple, long, with a four-lobed corolla about; they are produced in whorls (verticillasters) around the stem, forming thick, blunt spikes. Flowering is from mid to late summer. Peppermint typically occurs in moist habitats, including stream sides and drainage ditches.

Being a hybrid, it is usually sterile, producing no seeds and reproducing only vegetatively, spreading by its rhizomes. If placed, it can grow anywhere, with a few exceptions. The aroma of peppermint has been found to enhance memory. As such, it can be administered by instructors to their students before examinations, to aid recall. Peppermint has a high menthol content, and is often used as tea and for flavoring ice cream, confectionery, chewing gum, and toothpaste. It is the oldest and most popular flavor of mint-flavored confectionery.

Peppermint can also be found in some shampoos and soaps, which give the hair a minty scent and produce a cooling sensation on the skin. Used in this way, it has been known to help with insomnia.

In 2007, Italian investigators reported that 75% of the patients in their study who took peppermint oil capsules for four weeks had a major reduction in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms, compared with just 38% of those who took a placebo. A second study in 2010, conducted in Iran, found similar results. Peppermint relaxes the gastro-esophageal sphincter, thus promoting belching. Peppermint flowers are large nectar producers and honey bees as well as other nectar harvesting organisms forage them heavily. A mild, pleasant varietal honey can be produced if there is a sufficient area of plants. Peppermint oil has a high concentration of natural pesticides, mainly menthone.

Peppermint generally thrives in moist, shaded locations, and expands quickly by underground stolons. It is often grown in containers to restrict rapid spreading. It grows best with a good supply of water, and is often planted in areas with part-sun to shade. The leaves and flowering tops are used, they are collected as soon as the flowers begin to open and then are carefully dried. The wild form of the plant is less suitable for this purpose, with cultivated plants having been selected for more and better oil content. Seeds sold at stores labeled peppermint generally will not germinate into true peppermint, but often produce a less intensely scented spearmint-like plant. The true peppermint rarely produces seeds, and only by fertilization from a spearmint plant, which contributes only their own spearmint genes that dilutes down the scent and flavor.

*A Note From Alice: I really did not realize that peppermint was a plant that could not be reseeded and grow true to type. I wondered why I couldn’t find peppermint seeds in the stores or catalogs, only spearmint.  And to be honest with you I really like the spearmint, pineapple mints and other flavors of mints. They are wonderful for tea! You could mix different flavors together and still get the same benefits. I can attest for the fact that peppermint is good for IBS symptoms because a few years back I had a major problem with this. After being put on drugs to control (relax) this problem and finding that these drugs also relaxed the bladder among other side effects, research into alternative herbal methods led me to peppermint! Also, with this problem I learned that food combining greatly helped. There will be information concerning this (Lord willing) this month on my blog.

Peppermint is one of the ingredients I have put in the arthritis lotion I am making. It is almost ready! I am waiting now for more of the wintergreen that I have on order and have to get this made up and put into containers plus I’ve got to think of a good name for it.

Easy Peppermint Tea:

Peppermint tea is delicious and refreshing. Pour a cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of fresh leaves or 1 teaspoon of crushed, dried leaves. Steep, covered, for 10 minutes. Use more or less herb according to your preference. Add whatever sweetener you like and enjoy! Many times I do not add a sweetener to my teas, but for some folks that’s impossible. Drink a cup of this tea up to three times a day to aid digestion.

Guess what!! It’s Dandelion and Wild Onion time! ☺

 

I never did get out there before the freeze last year and so I wasn’t able to gather dandelions for the tincture I was going to make, but I have remedied that. I have taken a good cutting of the wild onions, cut them in pieces with scissors (washed first) and put them in a freezer bag labeled wild onion chives. So, I will use these in my casseroles, or whatever I wish until my (real) herbal garlic chives start producing again. They are good in potato dishes and egg dishes too. The dandelions are good to eat if you pick them early and mix them with other things. So, get out there and gather some onions and dandelions while the supplies last!!

Liquid Herbs

EVER SINCE I started gardening, I’ve been improving and maintaining my soil to increase my yields of vigorous herb plants with large, abundant leaves and high levels of essential oils. Long before the term “recycling” became a catchword, I was returning plant nutrients to the soil in the form of homemade compost and cover crops that I tilled under. Over the years, I’ve developed an organic liquid fertilizer that not only makes herbs grow faster and stronger, but is actually made from herbs.

Something I learned from my parents and have always done is to lay fresh cut leaves and stems that I’ve weeded or pruned around the base of my plants and wait for the rain, microorganisms, and time to release their nutrients to the soil. One winter day, while sipping a restorative cup of herbal tea, the idea came to me that my plants might also prefer their tonic in liquid form, a sort of vegetarian manure tea based on a mixture of dried herbs.

I discovered that the practice of using herbs as fertilizer dates back hundreds of years: as far back as the ninth century in the case of comfrey, for example, and to the eleventh for raspberry and dandelion. That’s really not surprising. Like all other green plants, herbs surrender their nutrients to the soil when they decompose.

The fertilizer formula I came up with contains twelve herbs, listed below, which together contribute nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and the ten other mineral elements essential for plant growth along with numerous other beneficial substances. Many have traditionally been used as fertilizers. Two of these herb, tansy, and mint, have a reputation for attracting great numbers of earthworms, which themselves are prodigious fertilizer manufacturers. Most of these herbs are vigorous growers, so if you have them in your garden, you probably have plenty to spare for making fertilizer.

The Results

I’ve tested my herbal fertilizer for three years, giving one group of plants fertilizer, compost, and water while giving another group of similar plants just compost and water. Large-and small-scale growers also have used it, in greenhouses as well as outdoors. We’ve all been pleased with the results.

Preparing the Fertilizer

My formula is based on dried herbs. You may purchase them or dry your own. Hang your harvested herbs or lay them on screens to dry in a cool, dry place until they are crisp.

To make about a pound of dried fertilizer blend, combine 2 ½ ounces each of tansy, nettle, mint, and hop, 1 ounce each of comfrey, raspberry (leaves only) if using fruit, add it later when you brew the stock solution), dandelion, coltsfoot, purple coneflower, soapwort, and sage, and 1 clove of garlic. Store the mixture, tightly covered, in a cool, dark place.

If you’d rather substitute fresh herbs for dried, use the same proportions specified above, but in double or triple the amounts.

Don’t be concerned if you don’t have all the herbs called for; just use more of the ones you have. To mix your stock solution, place the herb blend in an old pillowcase or other cloth bag and tie the top shut. Place the bag in a 24-gallon trash can and fill the can with water. Put on the lid to keep out mosquitoes, birds, and small children. Let this stock solution steep for about five days, or until it begins to ferment. In cold weather, I add a teaspoon of fish emulsion fertilizer to the can of water to help fermentation along. Use the stock solution as outlined below, then spread the spent herbs on your compost pile to get every last bit of good out of them.

THE INCREDIBLE EDIBLE SMOOTHIE

Usually each morning I have a “smoothie” for breakfast. I have found that it is the best way to get nutritious food into my body without having to push it down my throat. I confess that I use whole milk and kefir in my smoothie, maybe a half cup each and then add bananas, frozen blueberries, blackberries that came from my property, and other fruit that I might have on hand. Not a lot! I usually add some type of “green food” (such as Barley Max or Jordin Rubin’s Perfect Food powder, maybe a teaspoon). To that I add a ½ scoop of All One Vitamin powder. It actually tastes good. When I have it on hand I put some Children’s Immunity Plus in the blender, so that I get all of the immune fighting stuff in my body just by drinking a shake. I like it! I have grown accustomed to this type of breakfast. Fruit smoothies are a wonderful taste treat that can be substituted as a meal at breakfast, lunch or when life’s activities make it seem impossible to have a meal. It is great for children, too! For the weight conscious, it is interesting to note that when fruit smoothies are consumed on an empty stomach, no weight will be gained...only energy and valuable nutrients.

To make a smoothie, place the following in a blender:

1 cup fresh or organic apple juice                

1 cup fresh or frozen fruit

1 1/2 to 2 frozen bananas                            

1 or 2 organic dates or other natural sweetener (optional)

Blend until a creamy consistency is reached, which takes about 45 seconds. Smoothies are best when consumed immediately, before the bananas have a change to turn brown.

Note: Smoothies can be made with fresh ripe bananas, cold fresh fruit and cold juice; however, they will not be as cold or thick a when using frozen bananas and fruit.

Birthday!

Today is my birthday!! This year I turned 56 years old.  Birthdays are important to me. I can't imagine anyone not celebrating a birthday just because of something someone (Herod) did in the Bible that ended up with a great prophet of God (John the Baptist) losing his head! That is one of the things the Jehovah Witnesses don't participate in, the reason being the above mentioned. Does that mean that we should stop eating food, since Herod and his partiers were having a feast? I say nay!!

When I was growing up we hardly ever had a birthday party. We did get something new (I think), and believe me I'm not being unappreciative, but birthdays weren't really all that special. So, when I started my family of three girls, I decided to make their birthday times special. Birthdays only come once a year. When my children were growing up I gave them a day off for their birthday. They didn't even have to go to school. No, the teachers didn't appreciate that, but I wanted to do this for them as something special. And for the one (Grace) who was homeschooled her later years, she had the day off too. On this particular day they didn't have to do any work around the house, they just had the day off. We would probably do something like have a party or go out to eat, and they always got a special gift. They had the added benefit of other people in the family giving them something nice on their birthday.

For me, I usually do something special with my family, but it just depends on our circumstances at the time. Most of the time, I go out and buy something (clothing, purse, or something that I can have as a reminder of my birthday). Something I really need!  My daughter Beth, Todd, and grandchildren gave me a nice gift that really suits me. It just so happens that my grandson Xander's (Alexander) birthday is a day before mine. April 1!  I know go ahead and make an April Fool joke! There really is no reason for Christians to make a big deal over the first of April. I realized a few years ago that this was some more made up tripe that we have fallen for. Curtis and Grace came to our area and had a birthday party for Xander which ended up being on my birthday!! So I guess you could say I had a party too! At least that's how I'm looking at it!

So, this month for my birthday, I want to post Proverbs Chapter 2, which is something I read on the morning of April 2nd. 

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

Jeremiah's Prayer

Jeremiah 5:30-31
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;

Jeremiah is often called the weeping prophet. The book of Jeremiah is the prophecy of a man divinely called in his youth. A heartbroken prophet with a heartbreaking message, Jeremiah labors far more than forty years proclaiming a message of doom to the stiff-necked people of Judah. Despised and persecuted by his countrymen, Jeremiah bathes his harsh prophecies in tears of compassion. Through his sermons he faithfully declares that surrender to God's will is the only way to escape calamity.

Magic

According to the Webster's Dictionary:

Magic--1) the pretended art of producing effects by charms, spells, and rituals; sorcery. 2) Any mysterious, seemingly inexplicable, power or influence. 3) The art of producing illusions by sleight of hand, etc.

Magician--an expert in magic; a sorcerer, wizard

According to scripture:

 One of the things that God hates is the use of sorcery or practicing magic. The magicians in Moses time were constantly using their powers of divination against Moses and the people of God. To boast of learning, liking, and participation in such a thing is a slap in God's face. We cannot read the scriptures (KJV) without seeing that magic is a part of Lucifer's scheme to take away the heart of the people of God and turn them against the right things spoken of in the scriptures. I think that one of the worst things that can happen is that a Christian takes part in such activities. Sometimes magic and the magician are looked upon as some harmless past-time of entertainment. What we should ask ourselves is what does our Lord God think about this.

Last month I wrote about the topic of Sorcery and how abominable the scriptures say that it is. But now, my attention has been drawn to the topic of Magic because it seems that Christians don't see the two as being the same. Why then would we want to allow this practice to permeate our homes and society. I know that there are some Christian schools as well as churches that actually have "Magicians" come in and entertain their people, treating it like it is just some other entertainment and also used to draw people into the church. Many Christians have become complacent about such things and would even get mad at those not participating in these things to the extent of saying that the non -participating person has no right to speak out about such things.

Many times in order to protect our children we have to just tell the truth about what people are participating in and separate from these practices. I know the Lord will bless these efforts. Many of the prophets of old had to speak out against what the people of God were doing. In doing so, they jeopardized themselves and became ridiculed and humiliated by those they were trying to spare from the wrath of God. Yes, God is a God of wrath!! I realize in this time of "God loves everybody no matter what they do" is rampant in our world, but we know that all through the Old and New Testament the Lord God has proven that he will visit these types of things on the parents and children that participate in them. The closer we get to the coming of the Lord the more we will see this happen. I think that knowing this I would do my best to find out what God likes and try to do my best to live like he wants. Certainly, it is inconceivable to allow magic, sorcery, witchcraft, etc. to be a part of our testimony and lives.

In the book of Revelation during the time of the tribulation (which is in our time zone) there are scriptures regarding the punishment of those who are involved in witchcraft and sorcery.

Revelation 9:20-21
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Revelation 21:7-8
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Boy!  As a Christian, I would not want to be thought of as one of the above. I know there are times when we do wrong things, but to purposely do the things above....seems to me to be a "trip to the woodshed", Christian!!

Everybody's Sick!!

This information was taken from my daughter Beth's blog that she wrote this past winter and I think it is worth using here on my blog. Sometimes I like using the things that Beth has written because they are very down to earth and informative, and down right funny at times.  Enjoy!

Everywhere you go, people are hacking and coughing. They have stomach aches. Headaches. It is scary the germs that are flying around. Flu is rampant.

What do they do? They run to the doctor for an antibiotic. Antibiotics are useless against a virus. And yet....parents are so scared and the medical establishment plays on that fear by selling more vaccines (toxic garbage) and scribbling out prescriptions for medication.

What's worse about antibiotics? They not only kill the bad bacteria in your gut, they kill the good bacteria, too. This creates so many problems, because our bodies have many friendly bacteria that we need for proper metabolic functions. This is the reason that alot of people have digestive problems, constipation, yeast and fungal infections after taking a round of antibiotics. Our bodies also become immune to these antibiotics over time and then dangerous resistant strains of bacteria can be created in our bodies. This is the problem we have now, with the superbugs that are becoming more and more common.

{An effective broad-spectrum antibiotic is garlic. Garlic is an anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial agent. It is totally selective in its bacteria destruction, killing only the harmful bacteria in your body. At the same time, it actually enhances your friendly bacteria and improves your intestinal flora and digestion. It is a powerful fighter. Garlic contains something called allicin, which is formed when you break garlic down by crushing or cutting it. Garlic has liquid cells and fibrous cells and when you cut or chew it, the enzyme allinase reacts to the alliin, both natural chemicals in garlic, and converts the alliin into allicin. This allicin is the anti-EVERYTHING in garlic, and the ODOR of garlic.

The ODOR of garlic is most people's problem with eating and taking garlic. (Odorless garlic doesn't have the same properties as fresh garlic) I honestly have no idea how to deal with that problem, except to eat garlic moderately on a regular basis. I cook with it, crush it and use it all the time. None of us smell like garlic. My dad, who EATS it like candy, does smell faintly "garlicky". My mentality is that I would rather figure out a way to mask the smell than to be sick. }

If your system has been overtaxed by anitibotics (you or your kids), the best thing to do is to start building good bacteria in your stomach. You need to take a couple of rounds of probiotics (such as Beeyoutiful's Tummy Tuneup) or make a batch of Kefir, a cheap natural probiotic that I have talked about before. These probiotics will go far in reducing your chances of catching bugs, especially stomach bugs.

It disturbed me.}There are a growing number of scientists and researchers that now believe that the entire polio epidemic was caused by foolish, ignorant, and greedy medical doctors cutting out the tonsils of young children all across America.

In the 1920's, 30's, and 40's medical doctors went on a huge campaign to remove children's tonsils.  They even created family plans where you could bring all of your children into the doctor and have all of their tonsils removed, whether they were sick or not, and do it for a special money-saving price. By doing this, medical doctors cut out and removed the body's only immune defensive organ against polio in millions of children. Soon after this massive tonsillectomy campaign, in the 40's and 50's, America was ravaged by a polio epidemic, now thought to have been directly caused by this medical tonsillectomy campaign folly.

It gets worse. By the 1950's, medical doctors and the press had frightened every parent and every child in America, and the fear was POLIO. Sounds like the Swine Flu "pandemic" scare, doesn't it? Then in 1955, the medical organizations, medical doctors and hospitals launched one of their largest and most financially lucrative campaigns ever, the supposed miracle polio vaccine. 300 million doses were forced on American children. It was made from infected, rotten animal pus, from monkey kidneys and other animals that were infected with poliomyelitis, and then killed. I am not even going to mention the other toxic ingredients here, but use your imagination, it was the 1950's.

This polio vaccine looked safe, using the best microscopes, tools, and tests we had to examine it with, in the 1950's. But two decades later, in the 1970's, scientists again examined the polio vaccine, with more modern microscopes and tests that could look deeper and see more accurately, and the same Salk Polio Vaccine that medical doctors claimed was safe, that we gave to 300 million children in America (myself included) was IMMEDIATELY BANNED) It was found to be contaminated with approximately 150 other live viruses. Just one of these contaminants is the SV-40 virus.

In the beginning, in the 1950's, it was actually known that the Salk Vaccine was contaminated with the SV-40 virus. Both the Sabin vaccine (the "live virus" oral vaccine) and the Salk Vaccine (the "killed virus" injectable vaccine) were known to be contaminated. But, extremely toxic and poisonous formaldehyde (embalming fluid) was added into the vaccine to deactivate and kill the SV-40 virus in the Salk vaccine. It was later discovered that this did NOT kill the SV-40 virus. Consequently, everyone that received the famous supposedly life-saving Salk vaccine also received a dose of LIVE Monkey Kidney Pus SV-40 virus.

SV-40 is a Monkey Virus, also found in humans. It is well documented to cause tumor growth in the human body. It is suspected that it has been one of the contributing factors in the dramatic increase in the cancer rate over the past 50 years and linked to many cancers from sarcomas to malignant mesothelioma.

Worse, recently at the Vaccine Cell Substrate Conference, it was released that even after we banned this vaccine it was still sold and used in the millions of former Soviet bloc countries and also in China, Japan, and Africa, and up to and possibly beyond 1980. Literally hundreds of millions of people are now known to have been exposed to this SV-40 Virus.

So, the SV-40 Monkey Virus was mistakenly injected into hundreds of millions. Also the World Health Organization's forced Smallpox Eradication Inoculation Program, well, it was also found to be contaminated "monkey" vaccine. Together, both of these vaccines have been used extensively in the Third World and both of these vaccines have also been linked to the cause of the spread of AIDS in Africa and many other Third World countries.

From tonsillectomies, to polio, to cancer, to AIDS, we will never know the truth behind this monstrous medical scandal, nor the impact and death toll brought on by this folly of medical doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and government health organizations. And we will be dealing the diseases and death for centuries. An old "Nature Cure" doctor once said to me, "It is a good idea to never break the seal of the body (skin) with a needle and inject any man-made virus.

I had actually started this blog with the intent to talk about all kinds of things that would be deemed 'politically incorrect'. But as time has passed, the more I read, the more I realize how corrupt government is, and how crooked man has gotten. There is very little that can be done to correct it. I'm sure if all the Christians got together, fasted and prayed to God, it might help. But really, what Christians will do that? Bible believing Christians have gotten so worldly that they don't want to give God much time.

So...I haven't written much about the political, the conspiracy theories that run rampant, or the economy. I guess I will stick with how life affects YOU. Health, your spiritual walk with Christ, and everyday life/homeschooling.

Here are some things I know (and I'm not even Oprah!):

-Disease/sickness is vastly increasing, and will only get worse the further man gets away from being in control of his own food, and the further he gets away from God. Sickness and death is a result of sin.
-Famine is coming. Already the food shortages are being talked about. History has taught us OVER AND OVER that we will have another famine. I have heard/read so much about how grocery stores will be stocking less in 2011, grain is drastically going up, etc. to know SOMETHING is going on.  Be afraid? NO. Be prepared. Be wise...like Joseph who stored up grain during the 7 years of plenty to have during the 7 years of famine.
-Something is in the air...and it's not air freshener. It is chemicals that are being sprayed, and over time they kill your immune system. Fight back. Boost your immune system. The chemicals that are drifting down over our land is conditioning the soil. Do a research on Monsanto if you think this sounds unbelievably crazy. (Yes, I know it sounds mental...I thought so, too, until I did research on it)
-The government DOES NOT have your best interest at heart. Just because they know how to talk pretty does not mean that they are not lies.
-Life can be wonderful in its own way...IF...you do right and keep God's commandments. In some of the worst times in history, joy has come. Understand that without Christ, you have no hope. Even the worst skeptic will eventually ask the question, "Why am I here? What purpose do I have?" You are here for God's pleasure....act like it.
-You need to shelter your children as much as possible. This is so hard. It is a constant battlefield. Good luck.
-In order to fight in a spiritual war, you need the right kind of armor and weapon. New versions that take away the deity of Christ(all of them), tell you that the Mark will be ON your skin instead of IN your body, and pull us all together in ecumenical unity is like going into war with a nerf sword. The only true armor that will sustain you through bloodshed, pain, turmoil, and what is coming is the inspired Authorized King James Bible. If you don't believe me, pick it up (blow off the dust or actually buy one), read it for a couple of days, REALLY READ IT WITHOUT COMMENTARIES OR ANYONE ELSE TELLING YOU WHAT TO BELIEVE,  and then talk to me. It is hard looking in a mirror that shows all of your sins/faults. This fluffy, puffy Christianity that is so popular today will get you killed in the war that is coming, when demonic activity will increase greatly ("aliens", mental disorders, pokemon and avatars, etc.), and tribulation (God's wrath) comes.
-Sodomy is rampant. For those of you that think that their lifestyle is okay...do more research. Scripture calls it an abomination and punishable by death (new versions omit). When sodomites are allowed free reign, they don't live peaceably. They dominate and want to bring you into their sin. In the past I have had sodomite friends who I thought the world of, and 'it' always comes up. If you mention scripture, it burns them up. For the record, we didn't hang around for long, because the spirit of Christ that resides in me wars with the spirit of their father that resides in them.
-Muslims are becoming a real problem. A very real, very bad problem. If they were all peaceable...great. But they are not. And we are 'politically correct'ing ourselves out of the small measure of freedom we have. Look at France and England. They need to be saved, yes, but they multiply like rabbits. Good luck with it.
-Focus your energy on winning souls. If you don't know what I'm talking about, find out. You can email me and I will tell you. Time is short. So short, the way Biblical prophesy is rolling on. Everything is lining up. It is time to realize that perhaps the Bible has been telling the truth. Especially since everything it predicts comes true.
-The world is NOT going to end. After the Lord comes back, he will rule on this earth (that will look different after the tribulation) for 1,000 years. Then, he will burn it with fire and make a new heaven and a new earth. Don't waste your energy on saving the earth. The earth is the Lord's...he doesn't need you to 'save' it.

Isn't it exciting? We are living prophecy.

MMMM.....    APPLE BUTTER!!

Dark, spicy apple butter. My first try. I used a recipe I found online, and it is good. What is so great is that it is a crock pot recipe, and you can literally leave it all day.

5 1/2 lbs. apples, peeled, and finely chopped (of course you don't use the seeds-you take the core out)
4 c. sugar-I used white and brown mixed, but you can just use white
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt

Place all of these ingredients in your crockpot and mix well. Cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce to low for 9-11 hours (I did right at 10). The apples will be thick and dark brown. Uncover and cook on low for 1 hour. I used a wooden spoon to chop down the apples as they cooked and after they were done I blended the chunks to smooth it out. After blending, it was smooth and creamy...and delicious. I canned the apple butter the next day by heating up the mixture until right at boiling, and pouring the apple butter into jars and letting the heat seal the tops.

It is a good idea to process these jars in a boiling water bath filled with water a little over the top of the jars, for about 10 minutes.

Wolves In Sheep's Clothing

Same verse....seemingly harmless changes. Notice how this perversion of scripture changes 'them' to 'us', and 'this generation' to 'such people'. The consistent testimony of history condemns this rendering as preposterous. This reading was released LESS THAN one generation after 6 million descendants of David's were murdered by Hitler (the 'us' of verse 7).  When the mob cried out to Pilate, "His blood be on us, and on our children", a new period of heartache was ushered in where Jewish people would be anything but "safe" and "protected". From a numerical standpoint, the Jews have only known holocaust and genocide for two thousand of the three thousand since the 12th Psalm was written. Their added cry, "We have no king but Caesar", made sure that their antagonists would be "Romans", as in Roman Catholics-Hitler, Mussolini, Himmler, Goebbels, Goring, Eichmann, and so on.

Over the last several years, I've come across several great websites that I use in getting information. It's actually a little ironic, because if you had told me 10 years ago that I would be so addicted to information, I would have laughed. I think I was pretty cynical and lackadaisical in my approach to the world around me. Now, all of the things that I heard 15 years ago is becoming reality. And that is just a little bit freaky. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize where all the roads are leading to. Maybe you only listen to the mainstream news media, so you might not see the noose tightening. I also understand the tactic that most people take...one of turning their heads away from what's going on in the world around them and hoping it all goes away. The problem is, no matter how hard you try-it won't stop. God has a timetable, and nothing you or I do is going to stop it. You CAN change how you and your family are affected in what's coming by prayer.

*Five years ago, very few people had heard of the RFID chip. It is now here, and talked about in the mainstream media. Look it up on Youtube. New versions of the Bible change the mark 'in the hand' in  Revelation 13:16 to 'on'.

Example: (KJV) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive the mark IN their right hand, or IN their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of HIS NAME...and his number is six hundred threescore and six (666).

(NIV, Revelation 14:1)....the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had HIS NAME AND his father's name written ON their foreheads.

Many of the readers of new versions will think the RFID chip is no problem....just because of a "little" change. The lost people will take it to get food. It will be probably be introduced slowly. People degrade over time. Ever seen people with no food? Jungle warfare, baby.

*The temple (3rd temple that has to be built in Jerusalem) wasn't too much talked about in Christian circles. Now, it's brought up quite often. According to this website, a group of Jews have everything they need to start sacrificing again. They are only missing the temple itself. We subscribe to the Jerusalem Post, and the preparations for the Temple are talked about at least every other week.

*Israel has come into the forefront of world events. Think about how tiny Israel is...why does it cause so much interest? Hmmm. Maybe because IT IS IMPORTANT. To you. To me. To everyone. After all, it will be the seat of the throne of Christ during the Millennial Reign (Coming Soon!)

*The world is more wicked than it has EVER been. (As in the days of Noe...Matthew 24:7) Rapes, murders, theft, homosexuality, bestiality, rampant pornography, abortions, etc. Honestly, I don't know how a HOLY God can sit and watch us on this earth.

*Our freedoms are slowly slipping away. There is no where else to go. America was it. There is no other refuge to escape tyranny. And whether or not you stick your head in the sand.....life is a'changin'. Scanners in airports, RFID chips in trashcans to track your recycling, cameras everywhere watching, watching, watching, eye scans soon to be introduced...we are living in crazy, mixed up times. Where the creature is worshipped more than the creator. Where the courts are crooked and just as criminal as the jails. Where the jails are bursting at the seams. Where TV is more fascinating than the Bible. Where vampirism (drinking blood) is so popular. Where witchcraft is cool. And on and on.

*Muslims are becoming a very real problem. A very real, very bad problem. Sure, in the dreamworld that most Christians live in, Muslims can be won to the Lord. And yes, you should try to do so. But let's face reality. There are ALOT of them. And some of them like to blow themselves up and innocent people die. And the news media is shocked (oh, so shocked!) by a pastor wanting to burn Korans. And Paris is having a problem with Muslims praying in the street and blocking traffic, while cops watch, their hands tied. And we watch with bated breath. Because we are no longer AMERICA, home of the BRAVE-we are AMERICA, home of BIG BABIES.

Keep up. Be alert. Pray. Don't KNOW THYSELF, KNOW GOD instead.
